Notice: Ps2Fantasy.com has been undergoing a major redesign for a long time. Ps2Fantasy.com will soon become PsFantasy.com, a professional network of websites covering all PlayStation platforms. We will offer more updates than ever, in-depth content, and a series of services to our community. During this process, functionality of this website and frequency of updates are very limited.
- Konami confirmed today that the European version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, to be released on March 4th, 2004, four months after the release of the NTSC version, will contain four exclusive new features.
The PAL version of the game will feature a new "Duel Mode" which allows players to battle through the game's Boss Fights independently, a "Demo Theatre" that can be used to watch the game's beautiful cinematic sequences, a new "European Extreme" difficulty level for veterans of the series, and two new levels in the "Snake Vs Monkey" mode. The PAL version will also include more face paints and the winning designs of Konami's global camouflage creation competition, which US players had to download from Internet.
These four little additions will hardly repay players for the indecent, usual delay of the game's release in Europe. Considering the importance of the European market, it would be time for big companies like Konami to aim at a simultaneous worldwide release.
