Namco announces Tekken 5 release date
The king of fighters is coming early next year on PlayStation 2.
Friday, November 19, 2004 - Namco announced today that Tekken 5, the new installment of the franchise that sold more than 20 million units worldwide, will be released in North America in Q1 2005; the game will be released in Europe, published by SCEE, in Summer 2005. The new Tekken includes 20 default characters, and more secret ones that can be unlocked as you play the game. Classic characters have been updated with many new moves, and a complete novelty for the series is the possibility to spend money you collect during the game to purchase special costumes and other accessories.
