Metal Gear Solid 3 release date announced
Konami unveils the final release date of Snake Eater.

- Konami of America confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the new game of the series created by Hideo Kojima, will hit the stores on November 17th, 2004, confirming the previously announced mid-November release date.

The latest trailer of the game, available in the official website, showed all the bosses that the new "Snake" will have to face, giving a taste of the epic storyline and the amazing work done on character design. The names and the abilities of these new enemies seems to hint at a more metaphysical approach to the themes of the series - Snake Eater, according to Kojima, should be the ending chapter of the "Metal Gear Solid" saga, at least thematically. From the trailers it's already evident that the new Metal Gear game will refer directly to topical themes - Kojima talked in the past about patriotism, freedom, and war in an unconventional way, and Snake Eater seems to be no different.
