Activision announces Spider-Man 3
While the world is still waiting for the second movie, Activision announces development of the game based on the third installment.
Friday, May 21, 2004 - Activision announced today that the company will develop games based on Spider-Man 3, the third movie of the blockbuster series currently set for a May 2007 release. According to Sony Pictures Entertainment, Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst will reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Mary Jane. Sam Raimi will direct the movie. Activision didn't announce specific formats for their games. In the meanwhile, Activision is developing console and PC Games based on the movie Spider-Man 2, scheduled for release in North America timed to the film's launch on June 30.
