Konami unveils Enthusia Professional Racing for the Playstation 2
New racing game from Konami to confront Gran Turismo's leadership into the genre.
Monday, May 3, 2004 - Konami today announced Enthusia Professional Racing, a new racing game, developed in-house, scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 in 2005. From the early screenshots and the details unveiled by Konami, Enthusia looks more than intriguing. Strongly focused on providing an ultra-realistic simulation of racing, Enthusia will try to face the leadership of Gran Turismo in the genre. The game will include dozens of tracks, real and fictional, and hundreds of cars from 40 real manufacturers; the development team tested all the real cars to carefully recreate their physics into the game. Contributing to the realism of the game is Konami's new proprietary Visual Gravity System, created to convey a true sense of G-forces experienced by high-speed driving and maneuvering around a race track - this should allow players to feel the pressure exerted on a car during racing. The proprietary AI should make the game approachable for novice players yet challenging for experts.

Notice: Ps2Fantasy.com has been undergoing a major redesign for a long time. Ps2Fantasy.com will soon become PsFantasy.com, a professional network of websites covering all PlayStation platforms. We will offer more updates than ever, in-depth content, and a series of services to our community. During this process, functionality of this website and frequency of updates are very limited.
The game will boast photo-realistic graphics (take a look at the small gallery), with multiple camera views, including both a first and third person orientation, and variable weather conditions that will affect a car's performance on a track.
Enthusia Professional Racing will take advantage of the Playstation 2 controller, with pressure sensitive control of the analog buttons, and will be compatible with Playstation 2 driving wheels.
