Nina Williams goes to Europe
Death By Degrees - Nina's solo adventure - will be released also in Europe.
Wednesday, April 7, 2004 - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced the PAL version of Death By Degrees, the game featuring Nina Williams, Tekken's sexy assassin, as the main character.
The game, so far announced only for Japan, will be released in Europe in the first Quarter 2005. Stay tuned on Ps2Fantasy.com for news about a North American release.
In Death By Degrees, originally titled Nina, Nina will be able to use many of her signature Tekken moves; members of the development team worked on the Tekken series in the past. Many characters from the Tekken universe, including Heihachi and Anna Williams, will make an appearance in the game.
The game will feature a 360 degree combat system, with a rich selection of possible attacks in all directions that can be pulled out using both analog sticks; melee weapons and firearms will be also present in the game.
The previously called "Internal Damage System" has been renamed to "Critical Hit Targeting System" - players will be able to use a special X-ray vision mode to hit enemies in their weak spots.
Featuring a game map made of over 140 rooms to explore, the game, assures Namco, should offer about 20 hours of gameplay. It seems that Death By Degrees, besides pure hectic action, will also feature stealth and espionage elements - for example, Nina will need to obtain fingerprints from her victims to access secret areas and lay enemies out with sleeper holds.
In addition to the main Story Mode, Death By Degrees will also feature other modes, including Challenge Mode, Anna Mode, Sniper Mode, Hover-camera Mode, and Puzzle Mode.
