Ace Combat 5 announced for Europe

Monday, April 5, 2004 - After last week's announcement of the release date for North America, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced the release date for Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War in Europe.
The game will hit the store shelves later than in U.S., with a planned release in First Quarter 2005. The game will include many new features, including possibility to issue commands to Wing Mates, 50 playable planes , and 30 missions.
Ace Combat 5 takes place in the next future and puts the player in the role of a fighter pilot who must protect the nation of Osea against the attacks of unidentified aircrafts that already ruthlessly decimated a whole squadron.
