Namco announces game featuring Nina Williams
Tekken's sexy assassin gets her own game.
Tuesday, September 16, 2003 - The blonde sexy assassin of Namco's Tekken series will be the protagonist of a solo adventure, with a tentative release title of Nina.
An action/adventure title, Nina will narrate a spy story in which the heroine must fight against an organization called the Camietta. The organization has in its hands a powerful super weapon, called the Salakia, created to be sold to terrorist groups. Nina, with the help of two CIA agents, will have to infiltrate in a ship where the Camietta's top men are supposed to witness a fighting tournament.
The game will feature a fighting system based on usage of both analog sticks to pull out Nina's moves, even if Namco wasn't too clear about this supposedly innovative control system. What's sure is that the game will also feature the so called "Internal Damage System" - Nina will be able to see an X-ray of the enemies, and then determine their weak spots to deal true critical damage.
The game should be released in Japan in 2004 - a North American and European release date haven't been announced.
