Atari realeased today details and new screenshots of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2.
Wednesday, August 27, 2003 - Atari released today at the ECTS 2003 in London new screenshots (click here to see them) from the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2. The game will feature 34 playable characters from the entire Dragon Ball Z saga, 8 destructible arenas, and a new game mode, called Dragon Mode. In Dragon Mode, players will play next to a team of A.I. controlled characters in a quest to recover all the seven legendary Dragon Balls. Game modes also include Versus, Tournament, and Training.
Each character will have unique moves, and players will also be able to perform Fusion, just as in the show, and to absorb enemies. In fact, among the playable characters there is Buu, in his three pinky, deadly forms.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 should hit the store shelves in Europe on November 14th, 2003. North American fans of the series will have to wait until December.
