Thursday, May 8, 2003 - Sony Online Entertainment announced today EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontier, an expansion for EverQuest Online Adventures. The game, scheduled for a Fall 2003 release, will include many new features.

• A new playable race: Ogres.
  
• A new continent.
  
• Three new cities.
  
• 24 dungeons.
  
• New interactive Non Playable Characters
  
• Streaming music during gameplay.
  
• High-level characters will be granted access to extra areas.
  
• More detailed character models.
  

"With more than 500,000 of the PlayStation 2 system's network adaptors installed in US homes, Sony Online Entertainment is committed to serving this growing online audience," said Michael Lustenberger, director of product marketing for Sony Online Entertainment. "With Frontiers we're making several changes to improve the game for new players while adding a huge amount of new content to keep current EverQuest Online Adventures players involved in the game."
