EA unveils SSX3

Tuesday, April 29, 2003 - Electronic Arts today announced the third instalment of SSX. The game is scheduled for a late 2003 relase and will be available for Playstation 2, GameCube and Xbox.
Few details were revealed about the game. Developed by EA Canada, SSX 3 will feature new events and courses, new tricks, and a cast of customizable characters. Electronic Arts stressed the fact that SSX 3 will give the players great freedom to explore the vast environments created for the game; players will also be allowed to seamlessly ride from one area to the next for a non stop experience. The graphic engine will feature new advanced special effects, such as snow that sparkles and blows in the wind and realistic character shadowing.
