- Rage has announced today its line-up of new games due to be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) taking place between the 22nd – 24th May, 2002 in Los Angeles, California.
Rage will unveil games for all the next generation consoles at its booth #330 in the South Hall of The Los Angeles Convention Centre. Key titles on display include: Andy McNab: Team SAS (Xbox), Crash (PlayStation2 and Xbox), David Beckham Soccer (PlayStation2 and Xbox), Go Go Beckham: Adventure on Soccer Island (Game Boy Advance), Gun Metal (Xbox), Lamborghini (Xbox, PlayStation2 and GameCube), Rocky (PlayStation2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance), Rolling (PlayStation2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance) and Twin Caliber (PlayStation2, Xbox and GameCube)
Rage has also announced that it will be holding a special celebrity appearance session with ‘Mr. T.’ (aka Clubber Lang from Rocky 3) at its booth between 12:00pm and 1:30pm on Thursday 23rd May to promote its Rocky series of games. In this game you’ll be able to drive classic cars and destruct them. Crash will feature an extensive damage and wreckage system and will be available on Xbox across Europe in May 2002 and on PlayStation2 in Autumn 2002. David Beckham Soccer
David Beckham Soccer is a fast-paced soccer game containing unique features and content on David Beckham. The game features over 200 international and domestic teams, many game modes and a “train with Beckham” training mode that allows the player to hone their skills before taking on real opponents with a series of tests set by David Beckham himself. David Beckham Soccer is available now on PlayStation, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color and will be available across Europe on PlayStation2 and Xbox in May 2002. Probably the oddest game in Rage’s pack. They have transformed David Beckham into a cartoon action figure. Using Beckham’s soccer skills you have to defeat the evil Mr Woe, who has placed a terrible spell on the inhabitants of ‘Soccer Island’ and has stolen all the balls on the island. Definitely a game for soccer addicts…
Go Go Beckham is scheduled for release across Europe on Game Boy Advance in Summer 2002.Gun Metal
Gun Metal puts you in control of a 10-meter tall ‘mech’ robot equipped with an arsenal of devastating weaponry and the ability of transforming into a highly manoeuvrable jet fighter at the press of a button.
