Konami announces new MGS and Z.O.E. games!!

Friday, May 10, 2002 - In its latest financial statement, Konami Computer Entertainment Japan (KCEJ), announced the relase of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, in development for Playstation 2, PC, and Xbox. No further details were unveiled on this game, but according to the press release there will be "a second and third original title to follow on our Metal Gear Solid series". Konami also announced that sequels to the MGS series are scheduled every two years, and that there is a possibility we'll see a MGS online game in the future.
Besides, a sequel to the first Z.O.E., KCEJ's great mech title, was announced. The game will be titled Z.O.E. : The 2nd runner, and should be released exclusively for Playstation 2.
