Resident Evil: Code Veronica X released
Tuesday, August 21, 2001 - The first Resident Evil title hits the Playstation 2. Resident Evil - Code: Veronica X is an enanched version of the wonderful Dreamcast title released by Capcom last year. A playable version of Mikami's Devil May Cry, the most awaited Capcom title for this year, is packaged with the game.
Resident Evil - Code: Veronica X features 10 minutes of never previously seen footage, characters built with more than 1,500 polygons, 3d environments rendered in real time, dynamic cameras. What's more surprising is the fact that the facial expressions during the in-game moments are simply life-real. For certain scenes, more than 2,000 polygons are used to render the characters'heads.
