Ps2 Price Drop

Saturday, June 2, 2001 - Sony announced today that the price of their console will drop next week in Japan. From June 8th, customers will be able to log on PlayStation.com and buy a Playstation2 for 37,800 ($317). Anyhow, the new package will not include the DVD remote control which now ships with the Playstation2.
A package in which the new Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec is included will be soon available for the old price of 39,800 yen ($335).
