Speaking of graphics, we can't say Dream Factory did a bad job here. The characters are marvellously defined, perfectly characterized and full of nice details. Faces have realistic expressions and make justice to the Emotion Engine.
While the characters' interaction with them is nonexistent, the 3d environments are excellent and look like prerendered elements.
What don't convince me in the graphics of The Bouncer are the camera angles during the battles. While they are clearly organized to guarantee a cinematic attitude even in playable moments, more than once they fail in providing the best view for your character. This is another proof that The Bouncer has been developed with the idea of an interactive movie in mind more than a playable game.
Each character has a nice voice that fits him perfectly. The acting is good, even though there are many lines of the script that sound awfully false and expected. This ruins part of the overall good impression given by the spoken dialogues.
The soundtrack is the ideal for the cyberpunk environments of the game but it hasn't the forcefulness of the music in Final Fantasy series. Anyhow, sound is the best aspect of this game thanks also to the fact that The Bouncer is Dolby Digital 5.1 compatible.
This is an interactive movie, not a game.
Anyhow, a VS mode in which you will be able to play against three other friends, the usual Survival mode and the possibility to finish the game more times with the same character in order to power him up, make the replay value of this game a bit more acceptable.
