E3 2006: SCEI to support PS2 for a long time
Hirai announces plans to support the good old PS2 for "many, many years".

- At the pre-E3 2006 conference, Kaz Hirai, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, announced that the PlayStation 2 will be supported for "many, many years" after the launch of the PlayStation 3.

Many important games are scheduled to be released for PlayStation 2, including the much awaited Final Fantasy XII, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, and Level 5's Rogue Galaxy, an impressive RPG from the same developers of Dark Cloud. We will have a preview of the game as soon as our new network, PsFantasy.com, will launch in the next weeks.

Notice: Ps2Fantasy.com has been undergoing a major redesign for a long time. Ps2Fantasy.com will soon become PsFantasy.com, a professional network of websites covering all PlayStation platforms. We will offer more updates than ever, in-depth content, and a series of services to our community. During this process, functionality of this website and frequency of updates are very limited.
