He-Man debuts on PlayStation 2
European players get a "Masters Of The Universe" game.
Wednesday, February 23, 2005 - The Masters Of The Universe series debuts on PlayStation 2 with "Masters Of The Universe He-Man: Defender of Grayskull", to be released in Europe on February 25th by Midas Interactive. The game will retail for a budget price of £19.99. TDK Mediactive should have published the game in North America, but the release has been cancelled, so North American players may not have a chance to play as He-Man anytime soon.
The launch of the game coincides with the recent re-emergence of one of the most popular Eighties' franchises with a new cartoon series, comic, and range of merchandise. The game recreates the world of Eternia, featuring all the most popular characters of the TV series.
