Sony announces the launch of Sly 2: Band Of Thieves
Sucker Punch's sequel now available in all stores.

- Sony Computer Entertainment announced today that Sly 2: Band Of Thieves, sequel to Greatest Hits title Sly Cooper And Thievius Racconus, has shipped to retailers in North America.

Created by Seattle based-developer, Sucker Punch, the game features cell-shaded graphics and gameplay that mixes stealth, platform, exploration, and strategy elements. Sly and his crew are all playable characters, and they must work together to pull off their dangerous thieving missions.

The game starts when the Interpol finds the robotic remains of Clockwerk, Sly and friends' sworn enemy. Sly and his gang must go a journey to avoid that the parts of Clockwerk are never reassembled. The story brings the player in Paris, Prague, India, the Canadian Wilderness and more locations from around the globe.

"Sly 2: Band of Thieves is a platforming masterpiece with addictive gameplay that is sophisticated yet accessible for PlayStation 2 fans of all ages" said Grady Hunt, senior producer, product development, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "We are thrilled to have this title as part of this year's premier PlayStation 2 holiday lineup as Sucker Punch has once again provided players with an innovative experience that looks and plays like an
animated feature."
