Oddworld Stranger coming next year

Thursday, July 8, 2004 - Electronic Arts today announced the company will release Oddworld Stranger, the new game of the popular Oddworld series, in Spring 2005. Oddworld Stranger will be the first game to be published under the agreement Electronic Arts signed less than one month ago with Oddworld Inhabitants to get exclusive worldwide publishing rights on Oddworld games.
The game, an action-adventure title featuring first and third person views, will be released on PlayStation 2 and Xbox and will put the player in the role of a bounty hunter, the "Stranger", who chases outlaws throughout the new frontier of the Oddworld universe.
