Eidos announces first details on Crash 'n' Burn
Eidos asks you to drive dangerously, also against your friends - only in its new game, of course.
Friday, April 30, 2004 - Eidos today revealed details on its upcoming video game Crash 'n' Burn. The game, developed by Climax's Brighton studio, will be available on consoles this fall.
In Crash 'n' Burn, players will have to use speed and dangerous driving to win and survive the explosive races. First of all, players will have to customize their car. Once they've chosen a model, they can modify it with an array of body kits, spoilers, and then give it a final touch with paint and vinyl.
Races will take place in the streets of Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. Players must take first place against 15 other vehicles and try to destroy all the other cars, using any kind of dirty racing trick. The game will be playable also online, for races with up to 16 players.
Crash 'n' Burn will be showcased at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which takes place in Los Angeles from May 12-14.
