Konami announces Karaoke Revolution Volume 2
Karaoke for the Playstation 2 returns with 35 new songs.
Thursday, April 22, 2004 - Konami Digital Entertainment America today announced that Karaoke Revolution Volume 2, the follow-up to last year's music game, will be relased this July for the PlayStation 2. Like its predecessor, the game is developed by Harmonix Music Systems.
The game will feature all the game modes of the original plus an enhanced Showtime campaign and the new Medley mode, which lets players link up to 5 song clips together for a multi-player competition.
Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 features seven new characters, three new venues and more than 30 new character outfits. Among the 35 new songs, "Every Breath You Take," "Friends in Low Places" and "I Will Survive."
The games' proprietary voice recognition technology is compatible with any Playstation 2 headset/microphone peripheral.
