Atari Europe announces Unlimited Saga Collector's Edition
... and the package will include a special surprise for fans of Final Fantasy X.

- Atari and Square Enix today announced a special Collector’s Edition of Unlimited Saga for Europe, scheduled for an October 31st 2003 release date. The game will come in a special DVD case, featuring new artworks depicting all the many playable characters of the game, and a special bonus DVD, titled Eternal Calm: Final Fantasy X-2 Prologue.

Game features include:

  • A storyline narrated through seven different playable characters.
  • A complex, open ended adventure focused on discovery and character’s growth.
  • Original character development system and battle system.
  • 100% hand-illustarted visuals and new “Sketch Motion” developed in conjunction with Adobe System, and able to create graphics in an anime style.

The special bonus DVD, previously unseen outside Japan, features a 14-minute movie narrating the events that followed the end of Final Fantasy X. Japanese player were graced by Final Fantasy X International, an enhanced version of the North American release of Final Fantasy X including the special DVD Eternal Calm, in January 2003. European players who will purchase Unlimited Saga this October will be able to enjoy the special DVD in a remastered version featuring English voiceovers, subtitles in five languages and an updated scene. A North American release will follow.
