Playstation 2 says goodbye to Skies of Arcadia
Bad news for fans of RPGs. The Ps2 version of Skies of Arcadia has been cancelled today.
Friday, August 2, 2002 - Sega has officially announced today that the Ps2 version of Skies of Arcadia has been cancelled. The game will be released only on Nintendo GameCube. It seems that Sega wanted to focus all their efforts on the development of the GameCube version.
Skies Of Arcadia was originally released on Dreamcast, and it remains one of the best RPGs ever to grace a gaming console. This is a bad news for all the owners of a Ps2 with a passion for RPGs.
