Final Fantasy back to Nintendo!
Squaresoft has reached an agreement that will bring the Final Fantasy series back to Nintendo.
Saturday, March 9, 2002 - According to the news in the morning edition of the Nihon Kezai Shimbun, confirmed by Nintendo Of America, Squaresoft has reached an agreement that will bring the Final Fantasy series back to Nintendo.
GameCube and Game Boy Advance will have Final Fantasy games, thanks to the special "fund Q" established by the genial Yamauchi to encourage software development. Part of the fund will be allocated to a new development house affiliated to Square.
It seems the first Final Fantasy game that will be developed for Nintendo's consoles is Final Fantasy Unlimited. This title will be based on Square's anime series of the same name. Thanks to the possibility to connect the GameCube to the the Game Boy
