Capcom's Maximo available for rent
It was announced that Capcom's upcoming game, Maximo, will be available for rent to Blockbuster's rental stores.
Thursday, January 17, 2002 - Blockbuster announced today that Capcom's Maximo, set to be released for purchase on February 18, will be available for rent in all Blockbuster rental stores from January 18th. The players in U.S. will be able to rent the game until January 31st.
"We want Blockbuster to be the first place our customers think of as their source for games. And we want customers to rent their games before they buy, so we're going to be bringing our customers lots of special offers this year." said Brian Woodrick, director of Interactive Merchandising at Blockbuster.
