Majesco signs exclusive agreement with Rage software,
Tuesday, December 11, 2001 - Majesco, Inc. today announced it has entered into an exclusive publishing and distribution agreement with Rage Software. Under terms of the agreement, Majesco obtains the North and South American publishing rights to seven new titles for all console, handheld, and personal computer platforms.
Titles in the agreement include David Beckham Soccer, Gun Metal, Pocket Music, GTC: Africa, Crash, Mobile Forces, and Denki Blocks!, an award-winning puzzle game designated “Game of the Show” at the 2001 ECTS, the European interactive entertainment trade show. All titles are scheduled to ship in 2002.
“We continue to experience tremendous growth in our publishing business and teaming up with a respected developer like Rage Software is sure to further accelerate that trend,” said Jesse Sutton, President of Majesco, Inc. “We’re confident that the innovative game designs of Rage Software combined with our powerful publishing and distribution networks will deliver impressive results in 2002.”
Paul Finnegan, Managing Director of Rage Software, commented, “We are delighted to announce this agreement and look forward to working with Majesco to increase Rage’s profile in the North American market. Majesco’s publishing strength will provide maximum exposure for our robust 2002 game line-up.”
