BAM! enters the world of Ps2
Thursday, November 15, 2001 - BAM! Entertainment announced today that it is delivering Driven to the Sony PlayStation 2. Based on Franchise Pictures and Warner Bros.' recently released movie starring Sylvester Stallone, Burt Reynolds and Kip Purdue.
Developed by BAM! Entertainment's London-based internal development studio, the game places players at the start of the championship racing season of young hotshot Jimmy Bly, and racing veteran Joe Tanto. Pitted against their rivals, Beau Brandenburg and Max Manley,
players will fight for survival in the dangerous yet seductive world of fast cars, fame and money. Driven offers eight racing teams and twelve drivers to choose from and each driver has its own individual strengths and weaknesses.
Driven for the PlayStation 2 offers two-player multiplayer racing action and will be available at most retail outlets for an estimated price of $49.99.(From BAM! Official Press release)
