New Star Ocean 3 and Dragon Warrior VIII details
Enix has unveiled new details on the release of Star Ocean 3 and on the online possibility of Dragon Warrior VIII.
Tuesday, November 13, 2001 - Enix has confirmed that its next RPG, Star Ocean 3 will be released for the PS2 in March 2002 in Japan. The game is also scheduled for a North American release, but the official date has not been announced yet.
The Star Ocean series started in 1996 with Star Ocean, released in Japan for Super Famicom. In 1999 Star Ocean: The Second Story was released for Psx. This game featured an extraordinary mix of classic RPG elements and one of the deepest story in the history of the genre. The game took place 30 years after the events of the first episode. T

Enix also announced that Dragon Warrior VIII, the sequel to Dragon Warrior VII (also known as Dragon Valor in U.S.), will probably feature online capabilities. The game has not been announced on a specific console yet.
