No Price Drop in U.S.
Saturday, November 10, 2001 - It was announced by SCEA that there are no plans to lower Playstation 2's price this year. Sony Computer Entertainment America's Chief Operating Officer, Kaz Hirai has also announced that Sony is on track to reach its goal of selling 10 million units in North America by the end of this fiscal year on March 31, 2002.
