Metal Gear Solid 2 completed!!
Konami has officially announced that the development of Metal Gear Solid 2 is finished! Inside the official announcement.
Tuesday, October 30, 2001 - The wait seems to be nearly over. Konami has officially announced through their Metal Gear Solid 2 Bullettin Board System that the game is ready to hit the shelves of Japan and United States. The Snake is coming!
"We have completed the development of the Japanese and US versions of "METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SONS OF LIBERTY" and are now working on the European versions.
This BBS has been operating as a result of everyone's support.
We believe we have been able to achieve our initial goal of gathering everyone's input through the BBS.
As a result, we are shutting down this BBS at the end of October.
The messages we have received from everyone were very precious comments guiding us as our reference in the process of game development while providing us great encouragement and making us aware of how huge everyone's expectations are for MGS2.
We hope you can wait a bit more until the release of MGS2.
