Metal Gear Solid 2 still for a November release
Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - After the rumors and the announcements of the latest days, Konami has finally confirmed the release date of Metal Gear Solid 2 for a November 13th release.
"Because the main theme of this game is the pursuit of peace, the scenario will remain essentially as it is" said Konami's representatives.
And then: "Initially, Metal Gear Solid 2 would have included a scene showing the World Trade Center building. But due to the recent terrorist incident, we have decided to remove that particular scene. The theme of the game focuses on the establishment of peace. Therefore, there will be no change in the plot of the game."
Metal Gear Solid 2 is definitely one of the most awaited games of all times. After all, this year is the year of the Snake.
