Fresh Games are arriving!
Eidos launches new Japanese brand for America and Europe!

We all know that Japan is the Land of videogames. It's sufficient to take a look at the number of the games for Psx and Ps2 available in Japan: about 4,200 against the 1,400 in U.S. and the 1,500 in Europe. The games available in the Western Countries are just a selection of the extraordinary richness of the Japanese shelves. While good part of the games that don't make their way to our market are minor, low-quality productions, there is the continuous risk to loose many of the most original and innovative products in the industry.
But there are good news for all the videogamers who don't live in Japan. Eidos Interactive today announced a new brand specifically devoted to bring high-quality Japanese videogames to the worldwide market. The "Fresh Games" brand will have a start with three games developed by SCEI: Mister Mosquito, Mad Maestro!, and Legaia 2: Duel Saga, sequel to one of the most interesting RPGs available on Psx.
"Eidos Japan is extremely excited to bring outstanding games that have not been traditionally available to hardcore gamers in the West," says Satoshi Honda, Managing Director of Eidos Japan. "Titles such as Mister Mosquito, Mad Maestro!, and Legaia 2 exemplify gameplay that the hardcore gamer has been craving worldwide."
"Fresh Games is considered a boutique label, created solely to expose gamers to unique and captivating gameplay experiences that traditionally have been unavailable outside of Japan," says Mike McGarvey, CEO of Eidos PLC. "With Mister Mosquito, Mad Maestro!, and Legaia 2, we will change people's perceptions of what constitutes a great game."
